Innovating, investing...
Nanotecture is committed to continuous enhancement and development of its product portfolio and has an active IP programme. To date this has resulted in a comprehensive patent portfolio consisting of thirteen patent families, managed with the assistance of one of the UK’s largest patent law firms.
Patents
The first patent families originated from research at the University of Southampton and protect methods for manufacturing nanomaterials using liquid crystal templates and supercapacitor and battery designs that use these materials.
Nanotecture has since added a further nine patent families through its internal R&D programme and via collaboration with external parties including the University and industrial partners.
Nanotecture’s thirteen patent families can be classified within the following groups:
• Platform nanomaterials manufacturing technology
• Existing power source chemistries with nanomaterials-enhanced performance
• Novel power source chemistries that use nanomaterials
• Filtration devices
• Improved nanomaterials manufacturing processes
